Responsibilities

  • Perform highly analytical finance and control functions, including complex reconciliations and transaction approvals.
  • Provide training on new financial systems and serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Manage user support and troubleshoot questions related to budget systems.
  • Develop tailored training and support plans based on user needs assessments.
  • Research and synthesize data to identify trends and develop solutions for financial reporting.
  • Lead and execute unit or cross-functional projects to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Review and implement internal control programs and compliance reports.
  • Engage in continuous analysis of existing systems to recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and six years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning and financial systems.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multi-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Oracle SmartView and Adhoc reporting solutions.
