About the position

As a Budget Analyst with Clearance at CACI-Wexford, you will be an integral part of the Special Operations and Asymmetric Solutions Group (SOAS), renowned for addressing complex challenges faced by our customers. Your role will involve providing critical financial analysis and reporting to support national security missions and government transformation efforts for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian customers. You will work closely with the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) to ensure the Department of Defense's navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission is effectively supported, ensuring positioning, navigation, and timing superiority. This position requires a deep understanding of financial management within the context of defense operations, including program cost control, revenue recognition, and compliance with federal regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for all program-level financial analysis and reporting. Your tasks will include managing program cost baselines, forecasting revenue and profit, supporting customer reporting and invoicing, conducting direct and indirect rate analysis, and ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). You will also be involved in the initial setup of programs, including project codes and work breakdown structures, to facilitate accurate billing and financial tracking. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our operations and the effectiveness of our support to the Department of Defense. Responsibilities

  • Conduct program level financial analysis and reporting.
  • Manage program cost control and management using cost baselines.
  • Forecast revenue and profit recognition.
  • Support customer reporting and invoicing.
  • Perform direct and indirect rate analysis.
  • Engage in annual and multi-year planning and monthly forecasting.
  • Ensure program compliance with FAR and GAAP regulations.
  • Set up programs including project codes and work breakdown structures for billing.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with DoD and USG budgeting policies.
  • Prior experience with DoD finance systems including military budgeting, ROM, and MIPR experience.
  • BA/BS degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) certification or equivalent.
  • Prior leadership or management training.
  • Current SECRET clearance.
