About the position

The Budget Analyst position involves working closely with corporate finance teams to prepare and analyze monthly expense data, ensuring compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley principles. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a highly proceduralized and regulated office environment, with occasional visits to the plant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly expense data ensuring compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley principles.
• Conduct annual budget and planning duties and monthly forecasting for multiple departments.
• Allocate journal entries and perform project cost auditing/validation.
• Manage month-end closing processes, variance analysis, fixed asset accounting, and performance indicators.
• Produce ad-hoc reports using database reporting tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline.
• A minimum of three (3) years' work experience in data analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills, including MACROS, Pivot Tables, and linking files.
