Responsibilities

• Analyze and assist in the preparation of recommendations concerning the Governor's proposed budget.
• Participate in budget negotiations and the preparation of budget bill copy and memoranda.
• Draft, develop, and analyze legislation.
• Develop State policy proposals and oversee policy implementation.
• Orally present bills at Committee meetings and answer questions posed by Members regarding proposed legislation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Discernment skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
