About the position

The Cost Analyst position at a leading gas and energy utility company involves maintaining project cost control data files and providing detailed and summary-level information on projects throughout their life cycle. This role is essential for assisting in budget development, contract review, and communication with project stakeholders regarding cost reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in annual budget development, preparation, and associated reporting.
• Assist in contract review with project staff to facilitate understanding of contract and related unit codes/cost.
• Process project timesheets and maintain the Time Sheet database.
• Communicate with project stakeholders regarding special cost reporting, cost assessment, and cost analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associates Degree
• 8 years of experience in Cost Analysis
• Experience with Project Cost Control
• Experience with Cost Control Data files
