About the position

The Budget Analyst position within the Department of the Treasury's Large Business and International (LB&I) Division is a critical role that involves evaluating, reviewing, and monitoring resource justifications, allocations, and usage for assigned program areas. The analyst will focus on ensuring conformance with the Division's business plan, the IRS strategic plan, and performance measures. This position requires a thorough analysis of resource needs, usage, and key budget issues, identifying and responding to budgetary challenges within the assigned areas. The analyst will assess the financial impact of management decisions on budget programs and will be responsible for researching and analyzing budgetary and financial issues concerning their assigned program areas.
