The Budget Analyst position at Northrop Grumman involves providing functional support to the Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD). Responsibilities

• Recommends and interprets budgetary policies and procedures
• Prepare resource baseline forecasts (Indirect, NCTA, Capital)
• Prepare weekly and monthly monitoring of Indirect expenses
• Prepare comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds
• Prepare variances explanations between actual costs and budget
• Prepare Staffing projections for organization
• Monitor and maintain Functional Allocation targets
• Analyzes trends and provide ad hoc support to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Business Administration/Management, Finance, or Economics

Nice-to-haves

• Prior work with Government Aerospace/Defense industry
• Familiarity with budgeting process
• Technical Skills to include SAP/BW, Excel, PowerPoint
