About the position

The Budget Analyst position at Radiance Technologies involves supporting the U.S. Army Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) program by applying expertise in DOD financial execution processes. The role focuses on budget planning, execution, and reconciliation of appropriations, ensuring timely fund execution in alignment with acquisition strategies and standardized goals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical funding execution data to develop budgets and spend plans.
• Generate funding documentation and reports using various internal databases and software.
• Perform all budget phases including formulation, justification, presentation, and execution.
• Administer the Agency Operating Budget and related budget reports.
• Conduct Mid-Year Review, Budget Execution Review, and Year-end Closeout.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years experience in executing financial activities supporting DoD Acquisition programs/projects.
• At least five years supporting DoD financial accounting operations, processes, and systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with GFEBS.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve a range of budgetary problems.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and implement financial and budget regulations from higher headquarters.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• DAU Level II certification in Business, Financial Management and Cost Estimating.
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
• BA/BS in Accounting or other relevant field strongly preferred.
