Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing comprehensive annual and multi-year budgets.
  • Performing detailed budget analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
  • Preparing budget reports and presenting findings to senior management.
  • Collaborating with department heads to develop budgets and financial plans.
  • Reviewing and approving budget-related requests and expenditures.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of budgeting policies and procedures.
  • Providing guidance and support to other team members in all budget-related matters.
  • Participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Conducting financial forecasting and modeling to support business planning.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in budget analysis or a similar role in the finance industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
