About the position

The Budget Analyst position is a hybrid role within a well-established national company located in Central Cleveland. The primary focus of this role is to support financial decision-making through budget analysis, report creation, and collaboration with company leadership. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience in budgeting and data analysis to provide insights and support to various practice groups and senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with company leadership on budget development.
• Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of budget proposals.
• Create summary reports to highlight spending trends.
• Provide budget and forecasting support to practice groups and senior staff.
• Analyze variances between budget and actuals in general ledgers.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
• Use business intelligence tools to create interactive reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or budgeting.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

• Financial analysis, modeling, and budgeting experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
