About the position

Join Our Team as the Budget Analyst! The Town of Hilton Head Island is seeking a dynamic and experienced Budget Analyst to provide support in the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of the Town's annual budgets for the General Fund, Debt Service Fund, Capital Project Fund, and Enterprise Fund. This role is crucial in ensuring that the financial resources of the Town are allocated effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of the community. As a Budget Analyst, you will validate the accuracy of operating budget requests and submissions provided by each Department. You will provide recommendations and accurate budget projections and forecasting, ensuring that all financial data is reliable and actionable. Coordination with other financial personnel is essential to obtain sufficient information to provide sustainable justification for budget requests. You will also provide continuous oversight of the Town's budget expenditure of approved funds, resolving any variance discrepancies found during variance analysis. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Responsibilities

Requirements
