About the position

The Budget Analytics Change Manager at Intelligent Waves LLC is responsible for collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand their financial management needs and providing tailored solutions. This role involves working with development teams to translate requirements into usable products, implementing and maintaining dashboards, and developing training materials to support user adoption of analytic tools. The position requires a strong understanding of DoD financial management and the ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their financial management needs and generate product roadmaps.
  • Work with development team to translate requirements into usable products using financial data, identify trends, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of dashboards/analytics, providing leadership and direction to developers and guidance and support to end-users.
  • Assist in developing approaches, creating, and presenting PowerPoint presentations and facilitating meetings.
  • Conduct analyses of current applications in relation to user needs and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Provide ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Plan, develop and implement an effective Change Management strategy to support user adoption of analytic tools.
  • Develop training material and conduct end-user training to support user adoption of analytic tools.
  • Align goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives across analytical products and portfolios.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in DoD Financial Management, within DoD Headquarters or DoD Components.
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI is a significant plus.
  • CSM, PMP, or other project management certification preferred.
  • Recent DoD experience, especially in Financial Management.
  • Experience working in an AWS environment.
  • Previous experience with Advana is a plus.
