About the position

cBEYONData is seeking a Budget Data Analyst to support Federal clients in their Contingency and International Programs. The role involves working within a cross-functional team to implement the PPBE Reform Commission Report, focusing on data gathering, consolidation, and strategic communications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review reprogramming and funds transfer actions within DoD.
• Support the collection and integration of financial data, including data calls and determining appropriate analytic methods for reports and briefings.
• Assist in the submission quality check process for financial information and coordinate with agencies to resolve data discrepancies.
• Review monthly financial data, monitor, reconcile, and report data against plans, forecasts, and budget targets to generate summary and detail reports and executive level information papers.
• Document financial execution for budget accounts and test the integration and accuracy of financial data into the DoD Advanced Analytics (Advana) tool.
• Distribute and consolidate RFIs from internal and external organizations.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manage budget exhibit printing, and support ongoing PPBE reform efforts.
• Compile data and information for closure of audits and timely submission of congressional reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Willingness to work onsite at the Pentagon daily
• Possession of a Secret clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with pivot tables and advanced Excel features
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong writing skills with the ability to deliver quality written products under tight deadlines
• Outstanding communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders across DoD
• Experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers on ad hoc requests.

• Extensive experience in translating stakeholder requirements into executable solutions
• Experience in formulating long-range budgetary requirements based on established policies and concepts
• Ability to multi-task across multiple projects
• Federal budget or DoD budget experience.
