About the position

The Budget Program Analyst will provide senior-level administrative budget support to senior leaders within the US Army MEDCOM. This role requires expertise in budget development and execution, particularly within the Department of Defense (DoD) programming process, and involves managing various tasks and providing analytical support to enhance financial management training and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Budget and Programming tasks.
• Manage taskers for senior leaders and provide general senior administrative support.
• Track training for the organization.
• Draft, review, and staff professional army papers (e.g., memos, policies, info papers).
• Assist project leads in organizing and executing financial management training, certification, and recognition programs.
• Draft, review, and staff responses to taskers internal and external to the G8.
• Build and edit products to be used in financial management training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Political Science, Healthcare, or related fields.
• 5+ years of programming experience.
• DoD Financial Management certification Level II or higher.

Nice-to-haves

• Extensive knowledge and use of FMIS (Financial Management Information System).
• Extensive knowledge and use of GFEBS (General Fund Enterprise Business System).
