The Budget & Vendor Management Specialist for Global Talent is a pivotal role responsible for creating, enabling, maintaining, and propagating an effective and systematic Business Process Management environment. This position involves developing and delivering insightful analysis to facilitate business decision-making across the Talent team. The role offers significant responsibility and interaction with senior management, providing an invaluable opportunity to make a substantial impact within a strategic organization. The ideal candidate will possess experience in budget and roadmap development, vendor management, and excellent project management skills, along with a keen attention to detail. While experience in a technical talent management function is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. In this role, you will manage a budget exceeding $30 million for the Global Talent & Development team. You will be responsible for tracking and reporting on all Global GTD targets related to budget, efficiency, productivity, and headcount. Additionally, you will lead and participate in GTD budget updates and presentations, managing communication packages effectively. Your responsibilities will also include managing the strategy and implementation roadmap for cost reduction initiatives across the team, centrally coordinating and managing all budget, accruals, and forecast plans. You will leverage the overarching change control process to define and implement governance that balances daily operational needs with common global reporting, while effectively managing changes. Ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of budgeting and Vendor Management across GTD is crucial, as is maintaining the integrity of the information by reviewing process documentation, validating business logic, and verifying outputs. You will create standard operating procedures for driving the vendor management cycle and establish robust vendor audit and compliance metrics. Furthermore, you will be accountable for the accuracy of information used in budget and Vendor Management reports to leadership, effectively influencing a diverse team of professionals in a high-demand and ever-changing environment. Identifying opportunities and proposing changes to enhance operating efficiency will be key, as will mentoring team members to enhance their knowledge and experience in budget and vendor management processes.
