LMI is seeking a Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) who is budgetary familiar with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES), Program Objective Memorandum (POM), and Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB). This role is critical in ensuring effective financial management practices within the organization, particularly in relation to government financial management best practices and program control. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and advising leadership on the execution and performance of financial management activities, including forecasting and tracking expenditures. This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance, reflecting the sensitive nature of the work involved. In this role, the Budgetary Financial Manager will track expenditures, initiate Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), and forecast executions as directed by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or Technical Point of Contact (TPOC). The contractor will also support the movement of funding, funds execution, and financial reporting, ensuring that all financial activities align with the directives from the COR or TPOC. Participation in meetings and conferences related to specific projects will also be a key responsibility, providing insights and support to the Program Integration Office (PIO). The manager will be tasked with preparing and maintaining work breakdown structures, forecasting costs, and tracking financial reporting. Familiarity with PPBES and program control is essential, as is the ability to prepare inputs for subsequent statements of work. The role will also involve the development and maintenance of detailed schedules, verification integration, and financial planning and reporting. The manager will track project progress against the requirements of the statement of work and prepare monthly progress and financial reports to ensure that milestones and deliverables are met on schedule. Additionally, the Budgetary Financial Manager will coordinate training and transition efforts, ensuring that technical support is provided throughout the transition process. The role includes preparing and conducting quarterly program management reviews and supporting other management briefings as required, making it a pivotal position within the financial management team.
