About the position

The Budtender position at Mint Cannabis involves providing exceptional customer service to patients seeking medical cannabis. The role requires educating patients about cannabis products, assisting with product selection, and processing transactions efficiently. The Budtender will also maintain a clean and welcoming environment while supporting various operational needs within the dispensary.

Responsibilities

• Check-in, verify the status, and report patient allotment on POS system.
• Provide patients with education and information about medical cannabis and its uses.
• Assist patients with product selection in an efficient and timely manner.
• Process patient orders and payments utilizing POS software.
• Operate, maintain, and close cash till and deposit the end of daily earnings.
• Assist management staff with daily operational needs, including cross-training in other departments.
• Maintain a clean and professional environment for patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of cash handling experience.
• Knowledge of the uses of medicinal cannabis and different methods of medicating.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of medical terminology experience (preferred).
• 1 year of computer skills experience (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
