About the position

Mint Cannabis is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative (Budtender) who will educate patients about medical cannabis and provide exceptional customer service. The role involves assisting patients with product selection, processing orders, and maintaining a clean and professional environment. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, dependable, and knowledgeable about cannabis products and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Check-in, verify the status and report patient allotment on POS system.
• Provide patients with education and information about medical cannabis and its uses.
• Assist patients with product selection in an efficient and timely manner.
• Process patient orders and payments utilizing POS software.
• Operate, maintain, and close cash till and deposit the end of daily earnings.
• Assist management staff with daily operational needs, including cross-training in other departments.
• Maintain a clean and professional environment for patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of medical terminology experience (preferred).
• 1 year of computer skills experience (preferred).
• Cash handling experience.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Valid Arizona driver's license/Identification.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of the uses of medicinal cannabis and different methods of medicating.
• Knowledge of cannabis brands and products available on the Arizona market.
• General knowledge of cannabis product regulations, including dispensing procedures and patient transaction limits.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
