The Budtender/Sales Associate position is focused on providing exceptional customer service in a retail cannabis environment. The role involves assisting customers with product knowledge, conducting sales transactions, and maintaining a clean store environment. Ideal candidates are motivated salespeople with experience in the cannabis industry, capable of upselling products and managing inventory effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing information about our products and answering questions.
• Conduct sales transactions, including cash handling and operating a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates.
• Offer personalized product recommendations to customers based on their preferences and needs.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales and promote the store's offerings.
• Manage inventory and restock shelves as needed.
• Perform basic math and retail math to process transactions accurately.
• Clean and maintain the store's interior and exterior, including the display cases and equipment.
• Supervise and assist other staff members as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and security.

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years of Budtender Sales Experience.
• Experience in retail sales, particularly in the cannabis industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math and retail math skills.
• Cash handling experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects.
• Familiarity with local laws and regulations regarding cannabis sales.
• Ability to pass a background check and comply with company security protocols.

• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
