About the position

Flora Farms is seeking full-time Budtenders to provide exceptional customer service and assist customers in selecting suitable cannabis products. The role involves day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Budtenders will work flexible hours, including evenings, and will be compensated at $13 per hour plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming customers and guests in a timely, professional manner
• Verifying a customer's identification to ensure they are legally permitted to purchase cannabis
• Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their expressed needs
• Educating customers on how to safely use their selected products
• Meeting sales goals and following company directives
• Maintaining accurate and current knowledge of cannabis, terpenes, and common uses
• Awareness of industry trends and new products, as well as changing industry regulations
• Processing payments, cash handling and POS skills
• Contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the dispensary property both interior and exterior
• Alerting management to customer complaints as well as operational and loss prevention concerns
• Contributing to the security of the store and ensuring all state guidelines are met
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, team-oriented environment
• Operating under the direct supervision of the General Manager and Upper Management Team
• Promoting a work environment that is positive, customer-service and solution oriented
• Handling confidential and sensitive information

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older to apply
• Able to pass a Federal and State of Missouri criminal background check
• Must be able to obtain an Agent ID through the state of Missouri
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
• 2-4 years customer service experience required
• Retail experience preferred
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Knowledge of cannabis products
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation
• Evening availability and holiday availability
• Positive attitude
• Strong work ethic
• Passion for cannabis and desire to broaden cannabis knowledge base
