The Cannabis Budtender at RUSH CANNABIS is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge to enhance the customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. This role involves assisting customers with their cannabis purchases, educating them about various products, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner
- Provide product recommendations and information to customers
- Educate customers on the different strains, products, and consumption methods
- Accurately process transactions and handle cash
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations and company policies
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge
- Service patients in a retail sales setting
- Consult and advise patients on products
- Assist customers/patients with the purchase of cannabis and/or cannabis products
- Recommend suitable products according to customer/patient needs
- Provide insight to new trends, products, and strains
- Demonstrate good professional customer service at all times
- Gain knowledge of strain characteristics, taste, aroma, effects, etc.
- Recommend similar strains and products if out of stock
- Teach and pass gained knowledge to team members, customers, and patients
- Market customers/patients to up-sell strains and products
- Assist in packaging, labeling, stocking, and production of products
- Maintain and ensure the sales floor is adequately stocked and presentable
- Inform management of customer/patient complaints and operational issues
- Know and gain knowledge of different methods of consumption
- Demonstrate good communication skills
Requirements
- Basic math and English skills
- Strong selling skills with a focus on technical sales
- Excellent organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Previous sales experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-haves
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of electronics or technology sales is beneficial
