The primary responsibility is to guide customers through their cannabis purchasing journey, ensuring they make informed choices while meeting sales targets. The role also involves managing transactions, maintaining store organization, and adhering to compliance and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers on their cannabis journey by offering product insights to help them make informed choices.
• Meet sales targets through strategic selling that builds guest loyalty.
• Ensure smooth POS transactions and compliance, and work with management to address guest concerns.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all products, strains, and promotions for strategic selling on the retail sales floor.
• Process customer payments via the dispensary's POS system accurately, ensuring compliance with all transactions.
• Work with dispensary management to find solutions to potential guest concerns and/or issues.
• Assist in fulfilling orders being dispensed to guests accurately and on a timely basis.
• Keep store stocked, organized, and clean; maintain SOP compliance and support daily operational tasks.
• Support intake, pricing, stocking, returning, and any potential transfer of products.
• Know and execute inventory SOPs to compliantly maximize current, saleable product and mitigate any potential losses.
• Perform accurate cash handling and management, promptly identifying any cash variances and determining the cause for any overage/shortage prior to closing out the register.
• Demonstrate knowledge and application of NJ regulations and corresponding SOPs.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Retail experience is desirable
