About the position

Buffalo Wild Wings is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House (FOH) Team Members for the roles of Cashier, Greeter, and Server at our Beaverton, OR location. This part-time position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where sports, great food, and camaraderie are at the forefront. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable and enjoyable. In this role, you will engage with guests in a friendly and positive manner, taking their orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for suggestive selling, handling cash transactions, and ensuring that all cash issued and received at your register is accounted for. At the end of your shift, you will count down your drawer to ensure accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to lift 25-50 pounds, as well as stand for extended periods. As a Front of House Team Member, you will blend enthusiasm with attention to detail, showcasing your knowledge of our extensive food and beverage options. You will create personal connections with guests, drive loyalty through engaging conversations about sports, and provide genuine suggestions to enhance their dining experience. Your role is crucial in making each guest feel valued and appreciated, contributing to the overall success of Buffalo Wild Wings.

Responsibilities

  • Serve each guest courteously, quickly, and efficiently with a positive attitude.
  • Fill orders and suggestively sell menu items to enhance guest experience.
  • Receive money and accurately count back change during transactions.
  • Be responsible for all cash issued and received at your register during your shift.
  • Count down the cash drawer at the end of the shift to ensure accuracy.
  • Create personal connections with guests and respond with genuine suggestions.
  • Drive guest loyalty through engaging conversations about sports and food pairings.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in serving (preferred).
  • 1 year of customer service experience (preferred).
  • 1 year of cash handling experience (preferred).
  • Valid Food Handler Certification (preferred).
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
