About the position
The Cashier/Greeter/Server position at Buffalo Wild Wings involves providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, sports-themed environment. The role requires serving guests with enthusiasm, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Team members are expected to engage with customers, promote menu items, and maintain a friendly atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Serve guests courteously and efficiently with a positive attitude.
- Fill orders and suggestively sell menu items.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including counting back change.
- Be responsible for cash issued and received at the register during shifts.
- Count down the cash drawer at the end of the shift to ensure accuracy.
- Create personal connections with guests and provide genuine suggestions.
- Educate and inform guests about food and beverage options.
Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
- Experience in serving, customer service, and cash handling (1 year preferred).
- Food Handler Certification (preferred).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
