About the position

The Builder Sales Manager at Cosentino will oversee all sales and marketing activities for assigned accounts within the Cincinnati, OH Distribution Center. This role involves developing strategies to increase sales of stone surfacing products in the new home construction market, establishing and nurturing relationships with builder accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales of stone surfacing products within a given territory in the new home construction market.
  • Establish and grow relationships with targeted builder accounts through cold calling, scheduling appointments, and meetings.
  • Establish builder profiles with key contacts to obtain, recapture, and retain their business.
  • Communicate product features and their influence within each account.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and national peers to ensure high levels of segment penetration and customer satisfaction.
  • Mediate between the company, builders, and fabricators regarding pricing, services, and product updates.
  • Prepare action plans to identify specific targets and project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Sales Team to execute business strategy for all customer segments.
  • Assist in developing the annual sales and marketing plan for the segment within the assigned territory.
  • Evaluate and negotiate point-of-sale positioning in model homes, design centers, and showrooms.
  • Maintain accurate relationship, product placement, and project details in the project management database.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience in the building industry.
  • 2+ years of proven capacity to interact with multiple levels within commercial industry projects.
  • 1 year of business development experience.
  • High School / GED required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Stone fabrication or distribution experience.
  • Experience with Customer database - Salesforce preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
