About the position

We are looking for a Building Automation and Controls Engineer in Conshohocken, PA who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gaining familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Additionally, you will provide on-site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your skills in a multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce Building Automation System (BAS) designs for HVAC and mechanical systems. This role is crucial in keeping our company connected, and we will support you with what you need to be successful. Responsibilities

  • Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
  • Provide on-site assistance during startup.
  • Coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
  • Produce Building Automation System (BAS) designs for HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • Gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering.
  • At least 8+ years of experience working with Building Automation and HVAC Systems.
  • Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications.
  • Experience with AF&IDs, P&IDs, Sequence of Operations, I/O List and general/technical specifications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in HVAC and Mechanical systems.
  • AUTOCADD experience.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
