About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing and driving sales of building automation controls and HVAC products through contractor and distributor channels in the Atlantic region. This remote position requires the individual to develop strategies to grow the account base, meet corporate sales targets, and maintain strong relationships with customers. The role involves significant travel and requires a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for annual growth targets.
  • Develop strategies and business plans to grow account base and meet or exceed corporate sales targets.
  • Prospect and onboard new accounts.
  • Maintain a funnel of new accounts in CRM tools.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers at all position levels through various meetings and events.
  • Support customers with training, technical support, and project quotes.
  • Manage the delivery of marketing materials and promotions.
  • Monitor sales activity and conduct regular reviews with customers.
  • Assist the Product Development team with new product rollouts and related activities.
  • Create, maintain, and implement a Sales & Marketing Calendar of Activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or state-recognized GED.
  • 5+ years of experience with Building Automation/HVAC Products.
  • 5+ years of experience selling within distributor and contractor verticals.
  • Prior account management and new business development experience.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations.
