About the position
The Building Automation HVAC Senior Engineer at the University of Missouri is responsible for providing professional engineering services related to HVAC control systems, ensuring efficient energy management across the campus. Responsibilities
- Provides professional engineering services to meet client requests/needs and to manage the day-to-day activities of other project team members.
- Program and commission mechanical HVAC control systems.
- Produce HVAC control drawings and sequence of operation for campus needs.
- Provide engineering support for the HVAC installation and service control technicians.
- Review project documents to ensure heating and cooling mechanical systems meet campus energy/design standards.
- Manage control system database.
- Work with engineering student interns.
- Assist with commissioning and testing and balancing efforts.
- Coordinate energy conservation efforts with projects, control upgrades, and fault detection efforts.
- Provide engineering support for the campus card access system.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience in HVAC systems or related engineering fields.
- Licensure may be required.
