About the position

The Building Automation Smart Building Engineer will be responsible for the design, engineering, and programming of HVAC and Building Automation Systems (BAS). This role requires expertise in Direct Digital Control (DDC) programming, as well as knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EPMS), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background with over 7 years of relevant experience in building automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC systems.
• Perform DDC programming for various building automation applications.
• Integrate BMS, EPMS, and SCADA systems into building automation solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation of building automation projects.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for building automation systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in design and programming of Building Automation Systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and practices.
• Experience with DDC programming and integration of BMS, EPMS, and SCADA systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency standards and practices.
• Experience with project management in building automation projects.
