The Building Automation System Account Executive will play a crucial role in this process, focusing on generating revenue through market development, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying market potential and building strong relationships with clients, including A/E, contractors, and end-users. The Account Executive will initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments and making initial presentations to understand account requirements. They will be responsible for closing sales by building rapport with potential accounts, explaining product and service capabilities, overcoming objections, and preparing contracts. Additionally, the role involves expanding sales within existing accounts by introducing new products and services and developing new applications. The Account Executive will also contribute to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and gathering feedback from accounts. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in outside sales, particularly in Building Automation Systems, DDC Controls, Lighting Controls, and Energy Management Systems.
