Tapestry Charter School is seeking Full-Time Building Based Substitute Teachers for its Lower School (K-4) and High School (9-12). This role provides an opportunity to engage with the school community and can serve as a pathway to securing a lead classroom teaching position. Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher
• Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of individual students
• Provide tutoring and additional support to students who require it

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred
• Experience working with children, particularly in a classroom setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and classroom environments
