BEEBE COMMERCIAL, LLC is seeking an experienced Building Construction Estimator to join our team on a part-time basis. As a commercial general contractor, we focus on bidding public projects and require a professional who is well-versed in the intricacies of construction estimating. Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for public construction projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate bidding.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a construction estimator, preferably in commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
