About the position

The Building Engineer will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of 5-6 commercial medical facilities in the Houston area. This role focuses on ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and appearance of outpatient medical facilities, requiring both technical skills in building systems and strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and responsiveness to tenant needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility upkeep of commercial medical facilities.
• Conduct maintenance and repair of building systems.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors for building system operations.
• Respond to tenant requests and ensure safety compliance.
• Participate in emergency response as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance and repair of building systems.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
• Experience working with subcontractors and vendors.
• Familiarity with building system operations.
