Responsibilities

Requirements

• State of Michigan Building Inspector certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Extensive knowledge of local building codes and current construction procedures/technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management, organization, and attention to detail skills

Nice-to-haves

• Additional state certifications preferred
• Municipal inspection experience preferred
