About the position

The role involves performing complex preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, systems, equipment, vehicles, and grounds across multiple industries. The technician will work under limited supervision, applying various trade skills and providing leadership to other technicians. The position requires monitoring system operations and performance, ensuring that all equipment operates within design capabilities and meets client specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review and assign work orders.
• Estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Order necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks.
• Use company and client CMMS to review work orders and document completion.
• Inspect building systems including electrical, fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements.
• Consult with clients to schedule repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete maintenance and repair records in CMMS per guidelines.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Possess skills to functionally operate a 'full size' van/truck.
• Licensure as stated by Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
