About the position

The Building Maintenance position at CraneWorks, Inc. involves performing a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks around the facility, as well as providing janitorial services. This part-time role is essential for ensuring the upkeep of the building and addressing minor repairs, contributing to a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and electrical tools to make minor repairs to equipment and utilities.
• Repair broken or leaking plumbing.
• Perform general upkeep of the building, including painting, caulking holes in walls, and cleaning spills.
• Assist the Parts Department with local delivery and picking up parts.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues and make minor repairs.
• Notify management of major repairs and oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Address potential safety hazards in workspaces to avoid injury.
• Keep maintenance and cleaning supplies in stock.
• Tend the grounds to ensure they are maintained and clean.
• Park and arrange customer vehicles and equipment.
• Pressure wash customer vehicles and equipment.
• Daily empty trash bins around the facility.
• Perform daily general upkeep, including cleaning floors, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing high-traffic areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems is required.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds.
• Experience in providing basic maintenance, building repairs, and janitorial duties.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment.
