About the position

The Building Products/Showroom Sales Manager at Famous Supply is a leadership role focused on overseeing and growing sales in the window, door, kitchen, and bath showroom sectors. This position requires a sales-driven leader who can manage a team of inside and outside sales associates, develop customer relationships, and execute strategic sales plans in the greater Pittsburgh market. The role emphasizes mentoring and training associates to enhance their sales potential while ensuring a strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Inside and Outside showroom associates to drive and grow showroom sales in the greater Western PA markets.
  • Oversee accounts assigned to sales associates and manage a sales growth plan.
  • Conduct joint sales calls to builders, remodelers, architects, and job site visits with sales associates.
  • Set targets and manage individual sales goals as well as team goals.
  • Lead and execute a strategic sales plan.
  • Develop and grow associates in their sales potential.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in managing a sales team.
  • Experience with architectural and builder sales calls in residential construction.
  • Product knowledge of kitchen and bath, as well as window and door design and construction.
  • Ability to understand and navigate blueprints, submittals, and specifications in these product categories.
  • Customer service mindset.
