In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in engineering and design of the HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities. The HVAC Team is engaged in design and construction activities, utilizing project delivery methods such as Traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid-Build. You will work on a variety of facility types including Power Generation buildings, Substations, Oil & Gas structures, and Energy Storage buildings. Your focus will be on systems related to HVAC and plumbing, covering areas such as Power Generation Halls, Administrative spaces, Warehouses, Maintenance workshops, Laboratories, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical Distribution Centers, and more. You will also be involved in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studies, energy audits, and efficiency engineering studies, which include system performance reviews and energy compliance calculations. Additionally, you will conduct code reviews and applications to ensure facility compliance with relevant standards. A significant aspect of this role will be the application of sustainable design strategies, including LEED certification processes. The Mechanical Buildings Design Group provides HVAC and plumbing solutions across three market sectors: Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial.
