About the position

The Bulk Truck Loader/Unloader position is a 3rd shift role, requiring availability from 11 PM to 7 AM, including weekends as scheduled. The job involves working primarily outdoors and includes various responsibilities related to the unloading of products from trucks into silos. The position requires adherence to safety and sanitation rules, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Receive paperwork on the incoming product from the Truck Driver.
• Break the seal and take the sample to the lab for product verification.
• Hook the truck up properly to unload the product.
• Unload the product through the sifter house into the silo.
• Verify the truck is unloaded properly into the correct silo.
• Complete and maintain paperwork as needed.
• Follow safety & sanitation rules.
• Keep area and sifter house clean.
• Help clean the silos as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6+ months of experience in a food production/food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.
• Comfortable working outside for the majority of the day.
• Not afraid of heights.
• Constant standing, lifting, and moving products most of the day.
• Ability to climb on a ladder.
• Flexibility to meet adapting work schedule.
• Minimum weightlifting requirement of 50 lbs.
