About The Position
The Packroom Laborer position involves performing repetitive tasks associated with the packaging of meat products. The workstations include inspecting product quality, assembling boxes, filling bags with meat, putting bags of meat into boxes, putting labels on boxes, sealing bags, weighing bags, and stacking boxes on pallets. The role also requires assisting with the coordination and running of a food processing line, and the ability to work at a fast pace is essential. Additionally, the laborer is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all production areas, including equipment, machinery, walls, floors, and ceilings. All team members must abide by all of Burke’s plant safety rules.
