About the position

RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. is hiring for multiple positions at their Burleson, TX location, including General Manager, Shift Manager, Co-Manager, and Store Associate. Each role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and driving profitability while adhering to company standards and regulations. The General Manager oversees the entire store operation, while the Shift Manager and Co-Manager support daily operations and staff management. The Store Associate provides direct customer service and assists in maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish an environment of prompt, efficient, and courteous service.
• Lead and direct positive and professional relationships with co-workers, guests, and vendors.
• Communicate respectfully and maintain a consistent team-oriented attitude and store culture.
• Manage and mitigate any reported guest concerns on designated shifts with a sense of urgency.
• Drive excellence in food service by executing designed processes and ensuring product quality.
• Encourage and manage a high standard of store cleanliness.
• Lead the coaching, training, and assessment of direct reports while adhering to operational standards.
• Review financial statements and performance data to measure productivity.
• Engage in the hiring of all store associates and develop managers to understand hiring processes.
• Ensure all team members follow policies and company standards at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED in progress or completed.
• 5+ years of prior food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience; retail management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Labor Laws and staffing best practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while on the job.

Nice-to-haves

• 2-3 years' work experience preferred for Shift Manager.
• 1+ years management experience preferred for Shift Manager and Co-Manager.
• Previous experience working in high-volume, guest-focused, transactional environment preferred.
