About the position

As a Fast Food Cashier at Sapp Bros., you will be integral to our mission of providing the friendliest and cleanest service at our travel centers. Responsibilities

• Greeting every guest with a smile and thanking them for their business.
• Putting away shipments.
• Cleaning restroom facilities.
• Wiping down the menu board.
• Attending crew safety meetings.
• Pushing yourself and others to meet and exceed speed of service goals.
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in food preparation to increase speed of service.
• Reporting violations of safety, sanitation, or security policies to management.
• Completing checklists and procedures for cash reporting, inventory control, and scheduling during your shift.
• Seeking coaching to improve understanding of restaurant financial controls.
• Performing all duties assigned by the management team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years of age.
• Willingness and ability to learn.
• Strong team-working skills.
• Adherence to dress code and maintenance of personal hygiene.
• Willingness to obtain a food handlers permit, paid for by Sapp Bros.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to provide documentation establishing identity and eligibility for employment in the U.S.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check, drug screen, and employment reference check.
