About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area remains clean and organized, providing exceptional service to our guests. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and have a strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next patrons.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy hours, including refilling drinks and delivering food items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle dishware and utensils properly, adhering to food handling standards.
• Assist in catering events as required, ensuring all setups meet restaurant standards.
• Collaborate with the hospitality team to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bussing or similar role within the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• Familiarity with catering services is a plus.
• A background in hospitality or hotel environments can enhance your application.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
