Responsibilities

• Transport students over scheduled routes and to/from special excursions.
• Ensure the vehicle is in a clean and safe operating condition.
• Enforce regulations to maintain passenger safety and good conduct.
• Assist students during loading and unloading from buses.
• Conduct emergency evacuation drills to ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Prepare documents and reports related to transportation activities.
• Communicate with school personnel and parents regarding transportation issues.
• Supervise students during transit to maintain safety and order.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License with Class B.
• Pre-employment Proficiency Test.
• Pre-employment Drug Test with school bus endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Annual Driver In-Service training.
