About The Position
The Bus Driver Trainee position is a part-time role within the City of Simi Valley's Transit Division, focused on providing safe and reliable transportation services to the public. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with diverse community members, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. Trainees will receive training to obtain a Verification of Transit Training (VTT) certification, with opportunities for career advancement to a Transit Coach Operator role upon successful completion of training and probationary period.
