About the position
Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino is seeking dedicated team members to join our restaurant staff. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure a high standard of customer service by cleaning and resetting tables, monitoring customer needs, and assisting supervisory personnel. Team members will interact effectively with guests and fellow employees, providing excellent service at all times. This role requires maintaining compliance with health and sanitation standards while contributing to a smooth operational flow within the restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Interact effectively with the public and Team Members.
- Perform excellent customer service at all times.
- Clear all tables and reset them for new seating according to venue standards.
- Approach newly seated customers and serve them bread, butter, and water in a courteous manner.
- Assist Food Servers in serving customers throughout their meal.
- Clear all dishes from the table after customers finish eating.
- Maintain compliance with health and sanitation standards and food safety certification.
- Work as a team member with venue Host, Supervisors, Food Servers, and Kitchen Staff.
- Assist with Food Runners and Dishwashers as needed.
- Help maintain restaurant cleanliness.
- Maintain a regular and consistent attendance record.
- Keep side stations clean and stocked.
- Fulfill any reasonable request made by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- One to three months related experience and/or training.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to solve practical problems in various situations.
