About the position

The Sales Representative at Comcast is responsible for selling integrated communication solutions to small-to-medium business customers. This role involves developing relationships within the community, promoting the Comcast brand, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective sales strategies and excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the creation and delivery of face-to-face sales presentations that demonstrate knowledge of the latest Comcast products and services.
  • Promote the sale of bundled products to ensure the optimal solution for the customer.
  • Sell with goals of exceeding departmental, financial, and unit targets.
  • Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast Business Services in the marketplace.
  • Generate new leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals, and partner relationships.
  • Focus on goal achievement and be results-driven.
  • Assist with developing sales territory, including cultivation of local business partnerships and organizational affiliations.
  • Retain customer base by delivering on the Comcast Credo and ensuring a superior customer experience.
  • Maintain and build customer relationships to drive customer retention; work with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Prepare sales and activity reports as required.
  • Participate in out-of-the-office meetings with customers on a regular basis and demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills, as well as skills in presenting, persuading, and negotiating.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience.
  • 0-2 years of relative work experience.
  • Strong adaptability and communication skills.

  • Customer-focused with strong persuasion skills.
  • Professional integrity and resilience.
  • Technical knowledge and workplace organization.

Benefits

  • Base Pay: $45,000.00
  • Total Target Compensation (Base Pay plus Targeted Commission): $75,000.00
