About the position

The Business Account Manager at CROSSMARK is responsible for developing and executing growth plans that align with the strategic intent set by the VP/MD and clients. This role serves as the primary contact for regional client leadership, ensuring consistent experiences and outcomes. The manager will coordinate with Customer Managers to optimize business plans, drive the Business Planning process, and work closely with cross-functional teams to improve key metrics through analysis of promotions, spending, and volume forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Customer Managers to develop and execute business plans.
  • Build and manage strategic plans for respective retailers/wholesalers.
  • Align on strategy and plan with Region Broker Managers.
  • Identify opportunities and threats in the market.
  • Provide planning analytics to support Category/Line reviews and presentations.
  • Manage trade fund visibility and effectiveness.
  • Measure the effectiveness of Customer Managers' strategies.
  • Collaborate with Insights lead to utilize insights specific to Category/Brand, Consumer/Shopper, and Channel/Retail dimensions.
  • Work with syndicated and other data sources to inform trade plans.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial and data analysis, including pre/post event analysis.
  • Develop customer-level distribution and merchandising targets with supporting insights.
  • Attend Customer Sales Calls with the Customer Manager Team as needed.
  • Develop and deliver content for the CROSSVIEW Business Review process.
  • Ensure Client's Plans are built and maintained in CROSSVIEW and the Client's Trade Planning System.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in sales or marketing, particularly with major chain customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Nielsen and syndicated data sources.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize demands and follow through on commitments.
