About the position

The Business Analysis Associate II role in the Card Marketing Activation & Transformation team at JPMorgan Chase focuses on leveraging data analytics to support marketing operations. The position involves collaborating with various teams to develop resource models, automate processes, and provide actionable insights that align with business objectives. This role is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency and driving data-informed decision-making within the marketing domain.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing and data teams to develop detailed modeling to support staffing requirements and pipeline analytics.
  • Design and develop resource models and data visualization dashboards.
  • Perform process & productivity analytics in support of resource modeling.
  • Assist in the transformation of working tools across the business by documenting data/reporting requirements, sizing process efficiencies, and conducting other analyses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data & Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Finance/Data Analyst.
  • Strong background in operational analytics.
  • Experience with SQL and modeling tools (e.g., Python, SAS).
  • Strong understanding & experience with data analytics tools and techniques (Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with marketing platforms (e.g., Marketing Connect, Optima, Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager, Axiom).
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence (ML/AI).
