About the position

The Business Analyst role focuses on optimizing and enhancing accounting software applications. The successful candidate will assess current processes, gather requirements, and collaborate with internal teams to improve system functionality and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main liaison between internal users, IT, and engineering teams to gather, document, and communicate requirements.
  • Develop clear business requirement documents for system enhancements.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions and promptly address user requests.
  • Analyze and improve business processes, aiming to reduce manual work and streamline user interactions.
  • Participate in software design, testing, and implementation of updates and new features.
  • Ensure deployment quality and reliability through thorough testing.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis, supporting project-based needs.
  • Manage multiple projects and initiatives, maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Stay informed on technology trends and suggest process improvements.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, effectively bridging technical and business discussions.
  • Demonstrate a proactive problem-solving approach, fostering team collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with a background in accounting or financial software.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on practical solutions.
  • Effective communicator, capable of translating technical details to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaborative environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
